2026-2027 School-Based Health Center Hours of Operation
Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Irwin County Schools (K-12) will implement procedures consistent with Georgia House Bill 340, the Distraction-Free Education Act.
In compliance with Georgia's Distraction-Free Education Act, students will not be permitted to use personal electronic devices during the school day (8:00am-3:15pm). Personal electronic devices include cell phones, smart watches, tablets, headphones, and similar devices. Additional procedural information will be provided by administration.

As part of our K-12 Open Houses on Wednesday, July 29, we've invited a variety of community organizations to set up informational booths inside our schools. We encourage all families to take a few minutes to visit these booths while attending Open House.
Participating organizations include:
• Wiregrass Technical College Adult Education
• Legacy Behavioral Health
• Local churches
• Irwin County Extension/4-H
• Anytime Fitness
• Southwell Pediatrics
• And many more!
